Malcolm Smith and John(Team Mate) fixing a chain during prerunning near Mike's skyranch mile marker 170.

Our Internal Battery for the HID Lighting system broke out of it's bracket and took out our intake filter.  In a matter of an hour a gallon of silt got in the engine at mile marker 320.  The Engine made it to mile marker 765 before melting. :)  We completely broke down the new engine and tried to rebuild the existing, cause Score stamps your engine, but the race engine had a slightly larger pin connecting the piston to the crank, so we had to put the new engine back together and  replace the existing race engine.  The whole process took 14 hours, from breakdown to startup.  We were 150 miles from the nearest road, figures.  Mag 7 our pit 12 support people let us use there trailer to do the engine change, thanks guys your awesome!!
